Temporary Help Agencies
Health and Safety Support for Your Business
Temporary help agencies provide staffing that helps to fill workforce gaps in many sectors across Ontario. Beginning on July 1, 2024, under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), temporary help agencies are required to hold a licence to operate.
One of the requirements in the licensing application is that the agency provide information about compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Workplace Safety & Prevention Services can help you understand your obligations, roles and responsibilities, and assist in the development of your program.
This page directs you to services and resources that give you everything you need to get started on your health and safety journey.
